Five Element Support is unique to Ear Spheres. It is based upon the theory of the Five Elements which is a holistic approach to overall health and well-being.
 
Theory of the Five Elements
The Theory of the Five Elements is based upon an ancient style of Chinese medicine.  The Five Elements are Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water. According to Chinese Medicine theory, all things in the universe are composed of these Five Elements. The health of each Element relies upon the harmony and balance of the others. Five Element acupuncture is a powerful and effective form of Chinese Medicine that works on Body, Mind and Spirit.
 
The Five Element Types
The five main Element ‘types’ are based upon Five Element theory. As in nature, we all embody, express and and are composed of the Five Elements. Each of us is born with an imbalance in one particular Element which can cause us to experience and display repetitive negative patterns and behaviours. This is sometimes called our constitutional imbalance or Element type. As we repeat these patterns, over long periods of time, it can lead to illness. By knowing and understanding our Element type, we can better understand ourselves and others. In Five Element acupuncture, the aim is to restore harmony to all the Elements, usually by treating the Element that is most out of balance, in order to restore health. Five Element acupuncturists are skilled in diagnosing a person’s Element type, but it is possible for most of us to recognise this for ourselves.
 
Which Five Element type are you?
This kit includes a booklet to help you identify your Element type. Each Element has an Ear Sphere chart which you may use to help balance a chosen Element by placing the Ear Spheres in the locations indicated. 
 
Ear Spheres are a needle free form of ear acupuncture or acupressure. They consist of tiny superior quality Japanese 24 karat gold or silver plated ear seeds that can be applied to acupuncture points on the ear with a clear plaster. The Ear Spheres stimulate these acupuncture points with continual gentle pressure and may help with a range of health concerns.  By pressing periodically on the ear seeds, it further stimulates the points which then sends signals to the body for it to heal.
