The Full Story

About

Sharon Ashton first began her journey into complementary healing when she started studying Chinese Medicine and acupuncture in 2001 at the renowned College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading, UK.  The three and a half year course was extremely challenging but life changing and Sharon returned for a further year's training to gain a degree in acupuncture, as well as a deeper understanding of the amazing benefits of this healing modality.  After 10 years practice, she was invited to teach at the College which she did for a further 10 years alongside her busy practice, until 2023 when she retired from teaching to concentrate on her practice and to set up her Ear Spheres business.

The Story

Having been an acupuncturist for over 20 years and  treated many patients with a wide variety of conditions in that time, together with her teaching experience, Sharon has a deep understanding of the healing benefits of acupuncture and acupressure. She practises both Five Element and TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) acupuncture which is a powerful combination. She regularly uses Ear Spheres in her practice to supplement her treatments and has found that people enjoy the extra support and being able to continue the treatment at home. Sharon decided to start Ear Spheres after seeing the positive effects that her patients were experiencing using ear seeds and wanted to help others to enjoy similar benefits. Sharon has been a member of the British Acupuncture Council since qualifying in 2004.
