What are Ear Spheres?
Ear Spheres are a needle free form of ear acupuncture or acupressure. They consist of tiny superior quality Japanese 24 karat gold or silver plated ear seeds that are applied to acupuncture points on the ear with a clear plaster. The Ear Spheres stimulate these acupuncture points with continual gentle pressure.
Ear Spheres can be used to help support you on your journey to health and well-being and can be used for a variety of health concerns. Each kit contains a leaflet with protocol maps of the locations of the ear acupoints, as well as the Ear Spheres themselves.

Ear Acupuncture
Ear acupuncture, or auriculotherapy, is a technique of using points on the ear to treat many health issues. It is based upon the idea that the ear is a microsystem which reflects the whole body and originally stems from the Chinese practice of acupuncture, an ancient system of medicine that can be traced back nearly 2000 years. According to acupuncture theory, our health is dependent upon the flow of energy or ‘Qi’. Qi consists of equal and opposite qualities - Yin and Yang. When these aspects become imbalanced and Qi does not flow freely, we can become ill. The aim of acupuncture is to restore the body’s equilibrium by triggering its natural healing response. This is done usually done by the insertion of ultra-fine sterile needles into specific acupuncture points including ear acupoints. However, Ear Spheres provide a stylish alternative to needles.
How can Ear Spheres help?
​Ear Spheres are placed on the ear acupoints to help stimulate them without having to use needles and can often be as effective. By pressing periodically on the ear seeds, it stimulates the points which then sends signals to the body for it to heal. Ear Sphere treatment can be combined effectively with other treatment modalities.
About Us
The Founder
Sharon Ashton has been an acupuncturist for over 20 years and has treated many patients with a wide variety of conditions in that time. She is a fully qualified member of the British Acupuncture Council and also taught acupuncture for 10 years. As a result, she has a deep understanding of this healing modality. Sharon practises both Five Element and TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) acupuncture which is a powerful combination. She regularly uses Ear Spheres in her practice to supplement her treatments and has found that people enjoy the extra support and being able to continue the treatment at home. Sharon decided to start Ear Spheres after seeing the positive effects that her patients were experiencing and wanted to help others to enjoy similar benefits.
